Terms and conditions

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These are the rules for using the Oslo Finanzas app and website. We wrote them in plain words. By creating an account or using Oslo you accept them; if you don't agree, don't use the service. Nothing here limits the rights that Colombian law or the law of your country gives you as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Oslo Finanzas ("Oslo", "we") is an app developed and operated by Duván, an individual domiciled in Montería, Córdoba (Colombia). You can write to us at soporte@oslofinanzas.com.

2. What Oslo is and isn't

Oslo is a tool to record and organize your money: expenses, income, goals, debts and installments, accounts receivable, the cash of a small business and shared couple and family spaces, with reminders, reports, summaries and a chat with artificial intelligence.

Oslo can be used from any country. The provider is in Colombia, so these terms are governed by Colombian law; if you live in another country, you also keep the consumer rights that your country's law gives you and that cannot be waived.

  • Oslo is not a bank or a financial institution and is not supervised by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia or by any other financial authority.
  • Oslo does not receive, hold, transfer, lend or invest money, does not take deposits from the public, does not charge interest and does not pay on your behalf. The balances, goals, allowances and contributions you see in Oslo are records: the real money stays in your bank, your wallet or your pocket.
  • Oslo does not connect to your accounts or ask for your bank passwords.
  • Oslo does not give financial, tax or legal advice, nor does it recommend loans or investments. Calculations, reminders and tips are based on what you record and are for guidance only; decisions about your money are yours.

3. Your account

  • You must be of legal age to have your own account. Minors take part only within a family space created by their mother, father or legal guardian (section 11).
  • You sign in with Apple, with Google or with a link to your email. Keep your phone and your email secure: whoever has them can get into your account.
  • An account belongs to one person. Don't share your account: to organize money with others, use couple or family spaces.
  • You are responsible for what you record being correct and for having the right to record third parties' data (for example, who owes you).

4. What's free

These personal finance features are free with no expiration date: logging by voice and by hand, screenshots from the most popular banks and wallets in your country read on the phone, goals, streak, rule-based missions, levels and achievements, debts and installments with their reminders, on-screen debt plan, accounts receivable with templates, reports, cards to share, widgets, Live Activity, and emails. The free plan does not include cloud artificial intelligence features, except for the scans and messages we give you as gifts (section 8), or shared spaces: the couple space requires the Couple plan, the family space the Family plan and the Business space the Business add-on or the Pro plan.

We may add or improve free features. If a free feature ever starts having a cost, we will let you know in advance and it will never affect the data you already recorded.

5. Scans, messages and credits

  • Scan: a photo, a screenshot, a page of a statement or a text that the AI reads.
  • Message: a question or instruction in the chat with Oslo.
  • Analysis: an in-depth query with the large model (Pro only).
  • Credits and daily limit: each plan comes with monthly credits and a daily limit. When you reach the daily limit, the AI comes back at midnight (Colombia time, or your account's time zone). When you use up the month's credits, features without AI keep working with no limit, and your streak and payment reminders are never locked.
  • Order of use: your plan's monthly credits are used first, then gifted scans and messages that expire soonest and, finally, the top-ups you bought.
  • Anti-abuse limits: there is a maximum of 10 scans and 10 messages per minute and a per-person daily cost limit, so that nobody uses Oslo as a scan factory.
  • Credits you don't use in a month don't carry over to the next month. Top-ups you buy don't expire: what you don't use stays available as long as you have your account. Gifts have the expiration date we show you when you receive them.
  • There is no unlimited plan.

6. Plans and top-ups

Prices in Colombian pesos for the Colombian store, VAT included. In other countries, the store charges in your local currency and shows you the final price before you pay.

  • Top-ups (one-time payment, no renewal and no expiration; limit of 40 scans and 25 messages a day): $2,900 for 40 scans and 40 messages; $5,900 for 100 and 100; $14,900 for 300 scans and 200 messages.
  • Individual: $12,900 a month or $129,000 a year. 120 scans and 120 messages a month, limit of 10 and 10 a day.
  • Couple: $21,900 a month or $219,000 a year. 200 scans and 200 messages a month shared by the two of you, shared limit of 16 and 16 a day.
  • Family: $34,900 a month or $349,000 a year. Up to 6 people, 300 scans and 300 messages a month shared, shared limit of 20 and 20 a day. The adult who pays shares out the credits; minors don't use AI.
  • Pro: $39,900 a month or $399,000 a year. 600 scans, 400 messages and 50 analyses with the large model a month, limit of 40 and 25 a day, Oslo's voice daily and the Business add-on included.
  • AI assistant: personalized tips, chat with memory and the monthly review require a subscription plan (Individual, Couple, Family or Pro); top-ups don't include them.
  • If your plan expires or you cancel it: your personal finances stay free and shared spaces (couple, family and business) become read-only. Nothing is deleted and everything becomes available again when you renew.
  • Business add-on: +$6,900 a month or +$69,000 a year on top of Individual, Couple or Family. 150 more scans and 50 more messages a month, within your plan's daily limit.

What each plan includes is detailed on the pricing page and on the “Your plan” screen in the app. If there is a difference between what you see in the store when paying and this document, the price the store shows you at the time of purchase applies.

7. Payments, renewal and cancellation

  • All payments are made in the App Store or Google Play, with the payment method on your Apple or Google account. Oslo does not receive or store card data. The purchase is also subject to the store's terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (month or year) at the same price, unless you cancel before the renewal. The store shows you the renewal date.
  • You cancel with one tap from “Your plan” in the app or from the subscriptions in your Apple or Google account. You keep what you paid for until the end of the period and then continue with everything free and your data intact.
  • Automatic pause: if you don't open Oslo for 30 days in a row, we pause your subscription so you don't pay for what you don't use, when the store allows it, and we let you know.
  • We never change your plan unless you ask. If you hit the limit two months in a row, we suggest the plan that fits you; the decision is yours.
  • Price changes: if a price changes, we will let you know in advance and the new price will apply from the next renewal, with the confirmation the store requires. You can cancel before it applies.
  • Refunds and withdrawal: refunds are decided and handled by the store where you bought, according to its policy. If you want to exercise the right of withdrawal for distance sales (article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011) or need help with a charge, write to us at soporte@oslofinanzas.com and we'll help you with the store.

8. Streak, gifts and referrals

  • Streak: the days on which you log at least one transaction or mark “I didn't spend today”: no-spend days count too. You don't have to log every day, and you have 3 missed days a month of grace that don't break it. Grace days can't be bought. The streak is a habit and a game: it doesn't change your plan's price.
  • Usage gifts: scans and messages that Oslo gives you (for example, when you reach a 7-day streak, 20 entries and a goal with progress, when you pay off a debt or when you reach your goal). They expire on the date we tell you, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and never include Oslo's voice or the large model. Nobody can hold more than 80 gifted scans and 80 gifted messages at a time.
  • Referrals: when someone you invited subscribes, you both get a free month; when they reach a 7-day streak, you both get 40 scans and 40 messages. Gifts are one per person per period, tied to the account and the device.
  • We may change or end promotions going forward, without affecting gifts already granted to you.

9. Artificial intelligence

  • Scans, the chat, missions and AI summaries use Google models (Gemini) on Google Cloud Vertex AI. How we handle that data is in the privacy policy.
  • Balances, interest, installments, projections and credits are calculated by Oslo's engine with fixed rules; the AI reads, understands and writes. Even so, the AI can misread a photo or misunderstand a question: check what it proposes before confirming it. Every action the AI suggests comes back as a card you confirm, and it can be undone.
  • If a scan goes wrong because of a failure on our side, we give you the scan back.
  • The AI's answers are not financial advice.

10. Reminders, usury and collections

  • Reminders: Oslo reminds you of installments, fixed bills and collections based on the dates and amounts you record. We do our best for them to arrive on time, but they depend on your phone, notification permissions and Apple and Google services. Your payments remain your responsibility.
  • Usury: the usury alert compares the rate we calculate with the certified usury rate for the month that we record in Oslo. It is informative: always confirm the terms with your lender.
  • Late fees: late-fee calculations are estimates based on the data you record.
  • Payment reminders: you send them yourself, from your WhatsApp. Use them respectfully: don't use them to harass, threaten or expose anyone. Oslo is not a collection service and doesn't contact anyone on your behalf.

11. Couples, families and minors

  • Spaces are created with an invitation link. Whoever creates the space is its owner and can remove members; any member can leave whenever they want.
  • Each member decides what to share. What you share in a space is seen by its members and may remain in the household's history even if you leave.
  • Adults see the household dashboard, not another adult's details, except what that adult shares. The Couple and Family plans share common AI credits that the person who pays shares out.
  • Shared spaces require a plan: the couple space, the Couple plan, and the family space, the Family plan; whoever pays covers all members. If the plan expires or is canceled, the space becomes read-only: nobody loses what they recorded and everything becomes available again when you renew.
  • Minors: only within a family space, invited by their mother, father or legal guardian, who is responsible for their use and authorizes the processing of their data. Minors don't use AI. The allowance is virtual: Oslo keeps score and the adult gives the money. Parental controls are optional and always visible to the minor.

12. Business

The Business space requires the Business add-on (on top of Individual, Couple or Family) or the Pro plan; if it expires, it becomes read-only and nothing is deleted. It's for keeping track of the cash, IOUs and suppliers of a small business or a self-employed person. It is not accounting software, a point of sale, an inventory or an electronic invoicing system. What Oslo calculates to set aside for PILA (Colombian social security contributions) and income tax is an estimate based on what you record; your tax and social security obligations are yours, and we recommend confirming them with an accountant.

13. Acceptable use

You may not use Oslo for:

  • Illegal activities, money laundering, taking deposits from the public, illegal lending or abusive collections.
  • Recording other people's data without a legitimate reason, or to harass, monitor or expose them.
  • Impersonating another person or creating accounts to take advantage of gifts or referrals.
  • Automating the use of the app, overloading the service, getting around the credits or using the AI for purposes other than organizing your money.
  • Copying, decompiling or reverse engineering the app, except as the law allows.

14. Your data and our brand

What you record is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide you with the service, as explained in the privacy policy, and you can export or delete it whenever you want.

The app, the website, the Oslo Finanzas name, the Oslo character and its designs belong to their developer. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app while you have an account.

15. Availability and changes

  • We work to keep Oslo always running, but there may be failures, maintenance or provider outages. What you record without signal is saved on your phone and uploaded when the connection comes back.
  • We may temporarily pause AI features because of failures or for cost control. If that affects you while you have an active paid plan, we may compensate you with gifted scans and messages.
  • We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove an important paid feature, we will let you know in advance and you will be able to cancel.
  • We may update these terms. We will publish the new version here with its date and, if the change is important, we will let you know in the app before it applies.

16. Liability

Oslo is a record-keeping tool: it is not liable for financial decisions you make based on your records, for payments you miss, for errors in the data you recorded or confirmed, or for failures of third-party services (stores, phone system, carriers, WhatsApp). To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid Oslo in the 12 months before the event. These limitations do not apply where Colombian law does not allow them, nor do they restrict your rights as a consumer.

17. Account suspension and closure

You can delete your account whenever you want from Settings. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription bought in the store: cancel it from your Apple or Google account too. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, especially for fraud, AI abuse or use to harm other people; when possible, we will let you know in advance and tell you why.

18. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, including the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) and the personal data protection regime (Law 1581 of 2012), without prejudice to the non-waivable consumer rights that the law of the country where you live gives you. If you have a complaint, write to us first: we respond within 15 business days at most. You can also go to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (www.sic.gov.co).
