Bill reminder app: log your bills once and get the reminder before they're due

Bills don't get forgotten out of carelessness: they get forgotten because there are so many and each one is due on a different day. In Oslo you log them once and get a reminder before each date.

Sample data

Everything that's due, in order

In Obligations you see your bills grouped: overdue, this week, this month and later. On Today, “Coming up” gathers what's due in the next few days, your debt instalments included, with a button to log each payment.

When there's nothing left to pay in the period, it gets celebrated with an “All paid!”.

Doña Caja's advice

Doña Caja has spent years counting money, and one of her morning tips sums it up: “In my shop, what isn’t written down gets forgotten. Same with your money.” Same with dates: that's why Oslo asks for each one only once and takes care of reminding you every time it comes back.

A tip: don't wait for the due date. With a reminder 3 or 7 days before, you have time to move the money to the right account, with no rush and no late fees.

What's due no longer counts as yours

Your account balance isn't what you have left. The bills due before your next payday are already spoken for, so Oslo sets them aside from the number on Today.

So when you check how much you have left, that money no longer shows up as free. And when you log the payment, Oslo records it as an expense and stops setting it aside.

Frequently asked questions

Does Oslo remind me before each bill?

Yes. For each bill you choose whether it reminds you on the day, 1, 3 or 7 days before, or several of those. If you change nothing, it reminds you the day before and on the day. Reminders reach your phone at the same morning time, the one you pick in Notifications, and respect your quiet hours.

Are bill reminders free?

Yes. Reminders on your phone are free with any plan. On the Free plan you keep up to 3 bills and 3 people in “Who owes you”, each with its reminders. With a plan, as many as you like.

What bills can I log?

The ones that come back, like rent, utilities, your phone, internet, insurance or a subscription, and one-time ones, like a course fee. Each can repeat every week, every month, every year or every so many weeks, months or years.

Does it also remind me about my debts and what I'm owed?

Yes. Your debt instalments come as a reminder before their payment day. And in “Who owes you” you log who owes you, how much and by when: Oslo reminds you before each date and you can send that person a friendly nudge.

What if I missed a due date?

The bill stays under “Overdue” until you log the payment, with no telling-off. When you log it, Oslo records the expense and moves the bill to its next date.
